I arrived in Cancun with two dentists to interview after contacting a dental tourism site. I chose Dr Gavaldon because she was so respectful and confident and her son so helpful and honest.My fears of unexpected costs adding up were removed when i was given a quote and told it would be honored no matter what. And the work did require a lot more than anticipated and the price stayed the same; in fact no money was even asked until just before leaving! The unconditional service went on and on, from being picked up and delivered to our downtown home or shopping, to paying for our xrays until we got the cash exchanged, to finding us a nicer place to stay and fitting my cousin in to have mini implants and both of us ready to leave together. It is like being a temporary member of a family when you are a patient.In the year since I left I have had only compliments about my new smile and have had no problems whatsoever with my ten crowns and six veneers. I will definately return for implants.

Testimonial/Review for Dr. Irma Gavaldon at Ocean Dental in Cancun, Mexico June 30, 2016.

First part of the work was done in January 2016 and it was completed the second trip in May 2016.

This was the best dental experience of my life. It's worth noting that Cancun is very safe even outside the Hotel Zone. We stayed at a nice gated apartment/condo with 2 bedrooms/3 beds, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, full kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 flatscreen TVs, a balcony and a pool. Walking distance to grocery stores and mall. It was around $100-$115/per night.

Ocean Dental picked us up at the airport and took us to all our appointments FREE of charge. Be kind and tip your driver :-)

Janea Courtright came to Ocean Dental in the month of January to get a full set of new crowns. This was not an easy feat but the skill and dedication of Dr. Gavaldon and her staff not only made this possible, but they over did themselves in the great work they provided to Janea. 

Janea's teeth were eroded and weak due to cancer. We had the pleasure of having Janea with us for 11 days in which Dr. Gavaldon worked sometimes late into the night in order to make the time schedule before Janea's departure. 

The outcome was not only a great patient-doctor relationship, but a whole new confidence for Janea thanks to the new look of her smile.

A HUGE thanks to Andy, Dr. Irma and David for their excellent patient care and customer service. They all took wonderful care of me from my arrival to my early morning departure, and all appointments in between. Dr. Irma Gavaldon is very professional and does excellent dental work. Andy and David were so friendly, fun and efficient. Best dental experiences I've ever had, all the way around. I hesitated as Cancun is much more difficult for me to get to travel wise from Alaska then several other Mexican dental options, but am glad I went with Ocean Dental Cancun and the wonderful staff there. It was well worth the extra travel challenges. Thanks again Dr. Gavaldon, Andy and David!!!! Will be heading back down there soon for the final phase of my implants and dental plan for a much better smile!!

Laura came in for implants and finished the first phase of the implant process. She will be returning later on in the year once the osseo integration process is completed. She will come back with us to finish the restorative phase and leave with a brand new smile!
